My evolution from a miserable workaholic to a (mostly) happy runner.

I started running when I turned 37.  For awhile I ran AWAY from things in my life, trying to find some tiny cove of happiness. But gradually I realized that running itself was what made me happy.  And running competitively satisfies the young athlete that lives inside me, while giving ‘adult Casey’ the structure of training to keep me motivated and on track.  This blog is my attempt to inspire people to lead a happy, healthy, running-filled life.
